East Peoria Community High School District #309 is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

                                                    1:1 Full-Time Para-Educator

Special education one on one paraprofessionals, under the direct supervision of special education teachers and administration, will support and assist  a student within the classroom or other educational settings so that all support needs of the student is met.  Specific roles/duties are determined by the level of student needs.  Support the student directly in his academic, social, emotional, self-help, and health development and goals.

Experience preferred. Paraprofessional certification required.

The stipend associated with this position will be according to the support personnel negotiated contract.  The starting wage will be $17.62 or with PEL $18.10.  Benefits will include sick time, personal time, IMRF retirement, health, dental & vision insurance.
